Design Trends for 2023

What to look our for in 2023

With fall coming around the corner we can start to see new product launches from our favorite brands. One launch we’re all excited for is the release of the iPhone 14’s from Apple. Here are some design trends we can expect to see in the fall launches to set the trend for 2023. Some of these trends may seem familiar to us as they have become more common in recent months.

Let’s start off with the number one question on everyone’s mind…

What is the new color of the year for 2023?

Pantone & WGSN have already announced their prediction on Digital Lavender becoming the color of 2023. The color is said to represent an escape from reality brining solace and stability towards people. The color is suppose to protect people’s wellness & mental health making them feel more at ease with themselves. Mental health is suppose to be the heart of 2023 after going through a pandemic & many challenging times throughout the past 2 years.

Many articles have stated that the year 2023 is going to be all about wellness, hence the color of the year being Digital Lavender. This makes sense as a lot of wellness brands have utilized the color in their products as part of the brand and/or packaging design. Although, some contradicting articles have stated that one of the key colors like Vining Ivy or Sundial may be the color of the year instead of Digital Lavender. A lot of theories around the upcoming iPhone 14 launch are predicting the iPhone’s color to be Lavender.
